Thanksgiving Feast...

Yesterday was Riley's Thanksgiving Feast at preschool.  I love the hats they made, although you can't really see how cute they are.  Riley was nervous all morning about going to school and saying some "Indians" were coming.  I explained that her teachers were dressing up like pilgrims and indians and she seemed to relax just a little.  I WILL NOT be telling her when Santa is coming in December or she will not go for sure!!!  Hopefully the teacher's don't tell her either!

Ding, Ding, Ding...We Have A Winner...

Okay folks, here it is:  We have a baby name for sure this time!!!  Keith and I spent a lot of time talking about it today since my car broke down (long story), and we made a final decision which I think all will be happy about.  Oh, I guess you want to know what it is:  Macey Savannah Samuel.  Now, let's get this show on the road!!!

Thankful...

 
  
Here are my 3 in front of the tree, before the 4th one arrives!  I am so thankful for my three beautiful, healthy kiddos.  I am thankful to God for the fourth about to arrive.  I am thankful for my husband who put up the Christmas tree last night even though it is the middle of November!  I am thankful for my mom, who about this time last year, we weren't sure if she would be here with us for another year.  I am thankful to my mother-in-law who drops anything to help me out with my kiddos.  I am thankful to all of my family and friends who put up with me all year long!!!

One more, I am thankful that these two are so close!  They truely love each other so much!

Change...

As of the end of November, I will have a new blog.  Here is the address:  www.samuelfamilyofsix.blogspot.com.  I love being able to use the different backgrounds that they offer and it is FREE!!!  I've started working on it a little, but have had to try to learn the new rules of as I go along.

D-Day...

Sorry, no pictures this post.  I went to the doctor this morning and it looks like D-day (delivery day) is December 1st if I don't go before then.  I was a little disappointed with the day but then realized that is just 2 1/2 weeks away.  The doctor DID say I was dilated to 1 cm. and she seemed to think I might go earlier than December 1st.  Either way is fine with me, although I am definitely to the uncomfortable, tired, very cranky stage.  But we have several birthdays in November (Gavin's, my stepmom's, mine, my dad's, my sister-in-laws) so a December birthday wouldn't be too bad.  I am just ready to meet this little person and see that she is healthy with my own eyes!

Grandpa and Grandma...

Yesterday my dad and stepmom came to bring Gavin's birthday present.  Grandpa got Gavin a nerf gun and Grandma gave Gavin money.  I don't know what it is about men and toys, but my dad AND Keith sure seem to enjoy shooting these nerf guns.  I told my dad, whose birthday is November 27th, that's what he will be getting for his birthday.  Oh well, it keeps them young!

 
 
 

 
After Grandpa and Grandma left, the boys loaded up in the car to pick up Gavin's friends for his movie "party".  I sent my camera with Keith, but this is the only picture he got.

Fall Parties...

Friday the boys had their fall parties at school.  Blake's party was themed "Happy Hallo-Luau" and consisted of a Hawaaian theme.  I had bunches of stuff from Riley's birthday party to donate and from what I hear, the kids had a great time bowling with coconuts, doing the limbo, and things like that.  I only stayed until the snacks were served and then waddled to Gavin's class to help.  Here is the one picture of Blake that I got, he smiles like this on all pictures now:

Mr. Gavin's party was actually fall themed and they played fall bingo, made a fall picture frame, and Gavin's team wrapped him up like a mummy.  Gavin was very sweet the whole time and took Riley with him where he went.  He kept pulling her on his lap, I swear she is a big as he is!!!

 
 
 Gavin was so happy to see me.  I think he thought we weren't coming since we were late.  It was really hard having to split up my time between two parties.  Up above, they are getting ready to start wrapping Gavin like a mummy.

Gavin's team really wound him up good.  Thank goodness, they left him an opening to breathe.  And here is my favorite:

Happy Birthday, Gavey-Bear...

 Today is my little monkey boy's 6th birthday.  He was up bright and early to open presents.  He was super excited to open his Nintendo DS.  He grinned nonstop all morning.  This year Gavin chose to have his friends (2) to a movie on Saturday.  He had specific instructions, though.  His dad had to take them, Riley and I aren't allowed and we're still waiting to hear the verdict to see if Blake is allowed to tag along.  I am just glad he chose this route because it is EASY-PEASY!!!  Tonight we are meeting all of the family for dinner at Angelo's, again super easy!  Here is Gavin opening his gifts this morning:

Gavin's other gifts were a DS Spiderman game, a sticker that wraps around the DS, and some Bakugans.  Now he can play with big brother.  Happy Birthday, Gavey-bear.  We love you more than words can say!!!
 
 
 
  

Happy Halloween....

Here are my Halloweeners before trick or treating last night.  No theme for us this year, which really didn't bother me as much as I thought it would.  BUT, that doesn't count for next year because Riley and I have already been looking for things her and the baby to possibly be next year!  So far we have Little Bo Peep and a sheep, a flower and a bumblebee, and she likes Strawberry Shortcake and I saw a little strawberry costume.  Just some ideas, we shall see next year what Riley wants.  I think I am past the point of no return with having the boys match, but we will have to see on that too!  Oh, by the way, I guess army men don't smile!  Here is my niece Avery, Andrew refused to be in the group shot, but I got one when he wasn't paying as much attention!
